Marius Fabre is a family owned business operating since 1900. For four generations in Salon-de-Provence the Fabre family has kept traditional craft skills alive making Marseille soap and black soap with olive oil. Carefully made using the rules set by Louis XIV, the Sun King. The soap is still cooked in cauldrons and left to dry in the north wind, the Mistral. It takes 14 days to make using only vegetable oils. Gentle, hydrating and nourishing on the skin and kind to the environment.
